Each and every one of us is living with some type of a health condition (high blood pressure, migraines, asthma, allergies, cancer), chronic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, crohn's, digestive disorders, COPD), autoimmune disorders (multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's), and many other chronic illnesses. We also struggle with mental and emotional disorders such as: depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic stress. We all have a wish to live pain free, symptom free and to regain our quality of life.
Lifestyle medicine is the answer. Lifestyle medicine gets to the root of all diseases (on a molecular and cellular level) and addresses the root problems. It is not a bandaid, it is not short term and it does not lead to partial success. Instead lifestyle medicine has positive life-long results, is a lifetime solution and results in total success. The challenge with lifestyle medicine is that it takes time to learn, to practice and to build a habit. And it takes time for the body to adjust to the changes, transform and be rebuilt as a new and healthy whole body. The power is in consistency. It's not a fad or a trend. It's learning how to live each day making choices that promote health versus disease. But consistency takes weekly coaching, a schedule, a weekly plan of action and education. Street Coaching Group (SCG) provides online courses (education), weekly practice plans (action), coaching (support, motivation, inspiration, and personal growth/self-improvement) and discussion forums (community, interaction, and communication with the instructor).
PROGRAM: YOGA FOR HEALTH (Tier 1)
The program gives individuals access to either 1) Yoga for Health and Chronic Pain, or 2) Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis as well as the Meditation and Intention Setting Course. Over 40 stretches and yoga poses as well as yogic breath techniques and mediation techniques are taught using video tutorials, bonus videos, modification and tips videos, audio recordings, and content/text information. Students also have access to a downloadable 50-page yoga handbook. The program is structured as if students were coming for a weekly yoga therapy session. The program starts slow and safe with yogic breath and stretches before moving on to different sets of yoga poses. The program is focused on stretching the entire body from head to toe to release toxins, tension and pain, before strengthening the whole body. Students will be able to attend a full all levels yoga class after completing this yoga therapy program.
Students also receive weekly email support, monthly newsletters and have access to discussion forums in each section of the courses.
This program is only $75/month and the best part is individuals can cancel their subscriptions at anytime if they are unsatisfied with the program.

Juanita is a 200 hour certified Level 1 Yoga Instructor, an experienced Yoga Therapist and a certified Health Coach. Juanita started her yoga
practice working in a medical clinic in Centennial, Colorado, partnering
with physicians and physician assistants in the treatment of patients
and their chronic illnesses using yoga therapy, meditation and yogic
breath therapy. Juanita also earned her MBA in
Health Administration degree from University of Colorado Denver in 2010.
She has coached clients on health and wellness since 2005. Juanita has used lifestyle and wellness therapies (including a clean eating diet, yoga, yoga therapy, fitness, meditation, yogic breath techniques, and art therapies) to heal and successfully manage her PTSD, chronic pain after an auto accident in her late twenties and multiple sclerosis (diagnosed in her early thirties). Juanita believes she has experienced psychological, physical and neurological sickness her whole life for a reason, "It's difficult to understand and help those who are sick, unless you've been sick too. I needed to heal myself first so as to understand how to heal and help others improve their health and achieve a high quality of life."
